Meet Hannah: Your local plant expert
My journey with plants began in 2006 at a local garden center, but it truly took root at Penn State and grew during my time with the Disney World Horticulture team.
As a Certified Professional Horticulturist and Certified Horticulture Therapist, I’ve seen firsthand how plants do more than just decorate a room—they provide a sense of peace and purpose. At BotaniGal, I’ve combined my professional expertise with my passion for therapy to create a space where everyone, from the first-time "plant parent" to the seasoned collector, can find their perfect green companion.

Before opening our doors on Main Street, I spent years providing horticultural therapy and job training for adults with developmental disabilities. That transformative experience is the soul of this shop. We don’t just sell unique houseplants; we infuse the principles of horticultural therapy into everything we do, ensuring that the joy of plant collecting is accessible, therapeutic, and rewarding for our entire Sykesville community.
